McLeod Plantation has lived through all of Charleston’s historic events including the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. Today is stands as dedication to the heritage and history of the Gulluah culture. Visitors can learn about the daily life of the people who lived and worked McLeod Plantation. Tours of the homes and buildings are also given. The site is also home to the McLeod Oak which is believed to be 600 years old.

It gets warm in Charleston so families will love the option to cool down at the Splash Zone Water Park. Closed for the addition of a new feature it should be open in June 2018 just in time for summer.
If you like the theatre and live performing arts by local artists then the Charleston Performing Arts Center is the place. C-PAC is located on Folly Road and is centrally located near many restaurants. We recommend reviewing the list of current shows and buying tickets on their web site.
