Summerville is the birthplace of Sweet Tea, home to the Flower Town Festival, stately Victorian homes, azalea-flanked cottages and a quaint Main Street. Residents appreciate Summerville’s original, small town, family-oriented ambiance but with all the amenities of a larger city. Located right off I-26, Summerville has become a central hub to the low country with new industry and employers in and around the city. Along with an easy commute to major employers such as Volvo, Mercedes Benz Vans, Robert Bosch and Boeing and family friendly amenities such as a YMCA, excellent recreation programs and good schools it is easy to see why this community is popular and growing.
