Art, Culture & History Attractions
Our City is History and our love of Art and Culture is found everywhere throughout the area. Charleston is one of those unique locations where you can visit Colonial treasures and learn about our heritage as a country. In 2020, we will welcome the doors to the International African American Museum recognizing the history of African’s who came to the US via Charleston and the influence they had on South Carolina, the United States and the world.

We have amazing beaches and parks in Charleston. Combined with sunshine, warm weather and amazing activities outdoors you won’t have to worry about getting fresh air in town.
If all of that wasn’t enough there are some other activities and attractions including:
Deep Water Vineyard (Wadmalaw Island)
Firefly Spirits (Wadmalaw Island (and soon North Charleston/Park Circle)
Breweries and more breweries
That’s right, Charleston is a micro-brew boomtown. Thanks to some key legislative changes a few years ago and patrons who love quality beer our City is in a renaissance of brewing. The New York Times just did a spotlight piece on the growth of The Neck and the breweries that call it home.
Westbrook Brewery (Mount Pleasant)
Munkle Brewing (The Neck – Charleston)
Reverly Brewing (The Neck – Charleston)
Holy City Brewing (North Charleston)
Palmetto Brewing (Charleston)
and so many, many more…we recommend checking out Crafted Charleston for potential Tour options.
